Malcolm Turnbull isn’t just Australia’s richest member of parliament,
he’s also arguably the most media savvy. And as a former journalist and
right-hand man of Kerry Packer, why wouldn’t he be?

Turnbull’s media savvy has turned up in his monthly email newsletter to
his Wentworth constituents (see below), which bears a close resemblance
to Australia’s “best practice” email newsletter – Crikey. Turnbull uses
the same introduction format and index style as Crikey.

CRIKEY: We give Malcolm 7/10 for his execution of the Crikey style. It
would become a 9/10 if he changed his typeface to a more readable sans
serif font.
