Aileen Moreton-Robinson

Aileen Moreton-Robinson is a Goenpul woman of the Quandamooka people (Moreton Bay). She is Emeritus Professor of Indigenous Research, School of Social Science, University of Queensland, a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Humanities and the Queensland Academy of Arts and Sciences, and an international honorary member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Her publications include Talkin Up to the White Woman (2000) and the award-winning The White Possessive (2015). She was the first Aboriginal scholar appointed to the prestigious American Studies Association’s flagship journal American Quarterly.
