Which news outlets do you find trustworthy? This week a major credibility ratings platform launched in Australia and John Buckley revealed which outlets,
including The Australian,
scored full marks.
Also at News Corp,
internal documents obtained by Buckley showed that staff have been undertaking diversity,
equity and inclusion training,
which involved exploring their “unconscious bias”. And staff at The Sydney Morning Herald said they are frustrated to be back in the news as Paul Keating's press club AUKUS spray of politicians and Nine journalists pulled the paper back into the press.
As the NSW election approaches,
Anton Nilsson this week revealed a letter showing how John Barilaro once threatened to sue a fellow National,
William Bowe mapped out how right-wing parties and quirky voting laws could dash the Coalition's chances,
and Dennis Atkins predicted a Liberal loss of power as the party suffers from “Morrison fatigue”. Keep an eye out on election night as we bring you the latest on our live blog.
Elsewhere this week Benjamin Clark wrote on the Albanese government's super tax reform,
Maeve McGregor argued inflation is too sticky to be left to the RBA,
and Emma Elsworthy questioned whether Anthony Albanese put Tanya Plibersek in a fossil-fuel-friendly portfolio to dent her popularity.
Thanks for your support and we hope you have a relaxing weekend, |
