When to rein in an unruly politician?

Do you wait until their thousandth post on social media promoting unproven medicines as cures for COVID-19? Do you wait until they question the safety of the vaccine, just a week after the government rolls out a $24 million advertising campaign to encourage uptake? Or do you wait until there’s a fiery exchange in the halls of parliament surrounded by scores of flashing cameras and hungry journalists.

Craig Kelly has been a big talking point this week thanks to his devotion to misinformation — as has Scott Morrison for his avoidance of the topic. You’ll find coverage from many of my colleagues, below.
