That was fairly pointless. Personally, I like Timeline.
I don’t get why people moan about timeline. I think it’s actually quite awesome.
Quite a creative video. I like the look of timeline and don’t mind having it. Though a lot of people do not want that kind of accessible history open to their facebook friends and many people will be burnt by the revelations at some point in the future.
I am rude and honest on my facebook, though keep a limited network that are all aware of that and carefully consider the future implications of my online history. Most people are not as careful as I.
Timeline is an unwelcome invasion of privacy. One of my Facebook friends posted a photo of Valeria Lukyanova and I had a look. Timeline announced that to all my Facebook friends. Why should some overarching demigod store that fact and tell everyone?
It seems inoccuous today but it’s in the next 10 years that all this personal information that these social networking giants are gathering will be used to our disadvantage.
